Sling & Yin

This morning is all about being held in a fun and lighthearted space. Many of you may know Sarah from our weekly practises and we have decided to team up and take flight :)

Sarah is a teacher and performer with over 25 years experience in dance, aerial circus, stilt walking and Yoga - we are in safe hands! But have no fear..we will not be high rope walking, with a progressive practice inclusive for beginners, Sarah will encourage achievement using the sling. I’m most excited about Shavasana, simply lying in the sling - in the air. We could even visualise a sandy beach and a piña colada (I mean green smoothie..) Shavasana, hanging like a bat in a cave will encourage the feeling of being held.

This air dance will lead us nicely into the beauty of Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga lead by me, Alex. For most of this practise you will be lying down, supported using bolsters, blocks and blankets to restore calm in the nervous system.

The morning will look a little like this:

1:45 - Arrival

2:00 - 3:00 - Aerial Yoga with Sarah

3:00 - 3:15 - Break

3:15 - 4:00 - Yin & Restorative Yoga with me, Alex
