Jambi Mark 1 - the first of many Jambi’s to follow!
I moved in expecting a short stay - an ‘in between house’…instead I found friends and a home which I will remember forever! The Jambi is a chill out, a party and an occasional chaotic place all rolled into one. The wine is flowing, the food is great and the company isn’t bad either.
James, Alex, Steve - thanks for memories, here’s to the future!

Alex you are literally an Angel! Thanks so much for having me these past two weeks! I have only been in The Jambi a short while but it feels like a hell of a lot longer, partly because we’ve done so much but also because I felt like I was right at home as soon as I stepped through the door.
It has been more of a holiday that a vet school placement…we have BBQ’d', we’ve run, we’ve ginned and jazzed, played UNO, had Sunday lunch, drunk copious amount of wine, we’ve done yoga and been swimming, we’ve eaten curry and well I’ve just had the loveliest time getting to know you all!
I will miss the amazing food, our wine drinking antics, our morning runs along the canal, that lovely Pops dog with the meatball nose, Stormzy cat and of course all of you at The Jambi! Thanks so much I will see you all again soon for sure.

Dear Alex and James
Thank you so much for having me and welcoming me into your beautiful home. The Jambi has become a home away from home for me and it was so nice to have you guys to come back to from work. I was a bit scared before coming as it was a new space, new house, new job. But from day 1 you made me feel i belong! We have had so many amazing adventures, to Merry Boy nights ☺. This summer has truly been one of my best yet, and you are a big part of that. I think The Jambi is truly special - a place where strangers can become family and where we support each other.
Never lose that smile on your face, Alex - you have so much love and passion to give, and even if the universe tests you sometimes, keep on doing what you do! Please keep in touch, and I hope we will see each other soon.

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Alex for taking me in and making me feel at home! The Jambi is a lovely space to stay, & everyone is so easy to get along with. I know i haven’t been in the house as long as i expected but every time I was home I enjoyed the evenings sitting in the garden with a glass of wine chatting away. The vibe from the house is always warming I felt I could be myself and Alex and I could have long chats that I enjoyed. I wish everyone in The Jambi the best and to always follow your dreams! Just remember everything happens for a reason, people change so you learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they are right and sometimes good things fall apart, so better things fall together!

The Jambi is a magical place to live. Alex is an amazing landlady and friend. Poppy is a diamond and Stormzy is a chilled but mental cat. Hahaha. I have enjoyed my time here and am sand to leave. Will look forward to future Jambi gatherings and hope the next Jambi members experience The Jambi magic.
